Routes and Walls. A cycle of online seminars on migration and borders across Europe, Africa and North America

Over the last decade, a series of global events has destabilised and redesigned the architecture of the external borders of the European Union and the United States, contributing to the social construction of an imaginary of the Global North as a hermetically sealed territory.

Within this framework, this cycle of seminars – which will be animated by sociologists, political scientists, anthropologists, journalists, artists, and international experts in migration policies – aims to promote a cross-disciplinary reflection on migrations and border policies on the two shores of the Atlantic Ocean, identifying points of contact and divergences.
