Ottavia Salvador has a PhD in Social Sciences at the University of Genoa. Her research concerns death within migration, and her works include the book “Deaths Without Burial: Between Migratory Processes and Neocolonial Narratives” (“Morti senza sepoltura. Tra processi migratori e narrativa neocoloniale“, ombre corte, 2019, with F. Denunzio) and the documentary film “Every Soul Dies: Elegy for Majid” (“Ogni anima muore. Elegia per Majid“).
