Nina Bacchini is PhD candidate in joint supervision between the University of Genoa (Social Science Department –DISFOR-, curriculum Sociology) and the University of Lyon (Université Lyon 2, curriculum Anthropology). She graduated in social anthropology in Lyon, France. She is actually developing an ethnographic and participative work on the French-Italian border and the city of Ventimiglia, questioning the reproduction and diffusion of border regime’s logics on the urban space and migrant’s tactics about living and challenging border(s). She is part of the political and solidarity network Progetto20K, active since 2016 in the Ventimiglia border area.
